Prahran Strength is a boutique strength training studio nestled in the heart of Prahran. We specialise in working with general population clients, who want to get strong and live life injury and pain free. 

Our focus is on working with general population clients, and empowering them to achieve a strong body and a life free from injury and pain. Our coaches are passionate about working with individuals from all backgrounds and fitness levels, whether you’re new to the gym, a seasoned training enthusiast or a competitive athlete. At Prahran Strength, we tailor our approach to suit your unique journey, ensuring there is a perfect fit for everyone.

Our Coaches

Our coaches are experienced and knowledgeable in many different training modalities and can tailor their programming to each clients goals.

  • Director / Owner

    Alan, Director and Owner of Prahran Strength. Originally from Athlone, Ireland, he has dedicated 16 years to the fitness industry.

    Alan’s career journey began working in a small bodybuilding gym in Ireland whilst completing a degree in Sport Science, followed by an internship in Arkansas, where he honed his skills.

    In 2019, Alan fulfilled a dream by opening his own business, and now continuing on that path with Prahran Strength. Alan is committed to helping others achieve their fitness goals. Outside the gym, he’s an avid soccer enthusiast and is pursuing a passion for boxing with plans for his first fight later this year.

  • Coach

    With 13 years in the fitness industry, my journey has been shaped by a deep passion for movement and strength. Starting with a background in dance and Pilates, I naturally transitioned into personal training, where I found my true calling—helping others build strong, capable bodies.

    In 2016, I stepped into the world of powerlifting and have since had the incredible opportunity to compete in events across Australia. Through my own training and competition experience, I’ve gained a deep understanding of strength training and the power of consistent effort.

    My goal as a coach is to help clients build a body they’re proud of—one that’s strong, resilient, and allows them to perform at their best, both inside and outside the gym.
